Christopher Mallon

Christopher Mallon is a Hamilton Music Teacher offering lessons for the Piano, Flute, Trombone & Theory. 

He has exceptional experience in teaching music and possesses an Honours Bachelor of Music degree from the Wilfrid Laurier University.  In addition he holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario.  He is an Ontario Certified Teacher. Christopher's is a member of the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, and also performs with other musical groups, such as the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Youth Orchestra, Laurier Symphony Orchestra, Brant Youth Symphony Orchestra, Laurier Wind Ensemble & the Laurier Jazz Ensemble. He arranges music for and plays with the Laurier Trombone Choir also. He had his solo debut in 2005 with the Brant Youth Symphony Orchestra, playing Rimsky-Korsakov 's Concerto for Trombone at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.

Christopher has become increasingly active as a composer, having finished a 12 minute trombone concerto, many piano pieces, a wind ensemble and also a synthesizer piece.  Most recently he completed his first symphony, a work 26 minutes long and also a new wind piece called "From Sea to Sky – An Olympic Dream".   Two of his ensembles were introduced by the Laurier Wind Ensemble in 2007, being:  The Prologue from "Shadowed Destiny" and "A Fateful Journey"
